St. Judes opens second centre in Hyderabad

St. Judes opened a new facility in Hyderabad on January 26th, 2025, further expanding its mission to provide safe, clean, and affordable accommodation for children undergoing cancer treatment.

This newly opened Axis Bank Centre can take care of 26 families providing them with essential services like hygienic accommodation, transportation, education, counselling, and holistic care to ensure every child gets the best chance to beat the disease. The centre also operates four dedicated units designed specifically for children undergoing Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) procedures.

Children being treated at MNJ Institute of Oncology & Regional Cancer Centre, Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital, Rainbow Children’s Hospital, L V Prasad Eye Institute, Little Star Children’s Hospital and NIMS Hospital stay at the facility. Most families hail from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.
